Description

Peter Milligan and Mike Allred's X-Force was overshadowed by Morrison & Quitely's New X-Men, but it's an enduring run in Mutantdom.

Allred's quirky art brought in a ton of great new characters, but I'm happy to own this cover with his take on Wolverine. One of the first artists to draw the new Wolverine costume outside of Quitely, the word balloon here read "Ya know I'm only doing this to boost sales."

Love the facial expression, the long, straight claws and the overall design.

An off beat Mike Allred cover artwork that approaches these well known characters from an indie perspective. They look freshly designed as he broke away from the Marvel house style for a renewed excitement!
