DescriptionUrza, Planeswalker:oil on canvas measuring a huge 30” x 40” -- Planeswalker: "Here Urza is shown in the aftermath of a large explosion, presumably after the detonation of the Golgothian sylex. The last moments of the explosion close behind Urza, and the Mightstone and Weakstone have now become his eyes. The nature of his new power was left nebulous in the art description, so I indicated a crackle of magic around his hands. In the explosion, the sand has been turned to charred glass, and Urza wades through the shards, outside of space and time. The painting is done on stretched canvas and has a soft canvas texture, except in the areas of bright white, which have been built up with layers of white paint. On the 1-10 Pancoast texture scale this is about a 3." -- Social/Sharing |
