DescriptionBack in December, I had considered wrapping up my "Iron" Throne theme with piece number 100. What better way to go out than with my centenniel piece and Tony reclaiming his armor? After discussing with some friends, both in person and here on CAF, I've decided to continue on (an easy decision since I have additional pieces in the works and would have missed my mark!).As I searched for an artist to deliver this celebration of my theme, I remembered the work of Steve Kurth. Steve is best known for his comic work on The Avengers, X-men , G.I.Joe, Ghostbusters, Hulk, Wolverine, Green Arrow and a slew of other cool stuff. A lot of that cool stuff involved coming up with the designs for the various Iron Man armors in Ultimate Iron Man: Armor Wars as well as crossing over to the MCU as one of the featured artists for the Marvel Cinematic Universe's various comic and book tie-ins. Steve knows his stuff and was great to collaborate with. Yet, it's still hard to believe that I've reached 100 pieces for this theme! I'd like to thank the many talented artists that have contributed to it, Bill Cox and Travis Ellisor for letting me join them on Comic Art Live to discuss it, the many art aficionados here on CAF that have liked and commented on my pieces and my brothers and sisters of the GCA. Congrats on hitting #100! And I'm so glad you're continuing! And Kurth did a fantastic job!

I ain't gonna lie, I was a little bummed when you mentioned possibly ending at 100 as that meant no more pieces to look at. But that's a selfish motivation and I was happy for you to have amassed such an impressive theme ending at the 100 mark. Here's to another 100! Great piece Josh - love this piece!

Congrats on 100 wonderfully creative and imaginative theme pieces. It's been so much fun watching this collection grow. Don't know if you have it in you to go for another hundred, but I'll be along for the ride as long as it lasts.

Incredible! He drew Tony so relaxed and unconcerned- like all those pretenders to his throne were a slight annoyance!
Perfect piece for #100! Might I suggest Arno Stark and Jim Rhodes as future theone-sitters?
