Description

I love pages where the panels themselves are letters/words.

Here we see a zombie Deadshot being taken out by Zsasz at the top. In the center splash we get a wider view of the battle. Red Hood stands alone with Deadshot on the ground next to a beheaded Man-Bat while Solomon Grundy skulks in the background. Finally, we see Red Hood taking a Grundy punch in the teeth.

Not my first Barrows/Ferreira page and probably not my last. I love their work.

Sweet page design! Everything hand drawn and full of sharp and deep ink tones. The onomatopoeia serving as panels themselves is a very unique feature and they deliver along with the impact of the sounds!

Using the letters of the sound effects as panels was an ingenious decision. Great stuff by a great art team!
