OMG! Fabulous pick-up! Love this cover and even though the drawing of Carrie is small, her impact certainly isn't.

Talk about iconic! Big and graphic but still illustrative and clever--love the shadow behind Carrie, that's a thoughtful touch.

I couldn't help but chuckle when I read the, "While not as memorable....." line. There are only four of these. You have one. Certainly you are free to write whatever you want in your description. But I would argue that particular line just might not be an issue to the other 99.6% of us who don't have a DK cover. Anyway, congratulations! I hope you'll be able to enjoy this less memorable cover for many years to come. LOL!

Can you explain what we're seeing here? (besides history). How was the background grey-tone achieved? Is the bat signal inked on the borad too??
