DescriptionI never imagined that I would have the opportunity to own this beautiful Punisher cover by Jim Lee. Somehow it popped for sale at Comic Art Live, and I was fortunate to have been able to work it out. I started reading Punisher Magazine and SSOC serially before anything else so there explains my love for both series.A big thank you to Rey, the perfect gentleman, for being patient with me, and to Nick for his counsel. One of the earliest Jim Lee full color paintings! Amazing how well Punisher looks on a gargoyle in this dynamic environment!

absolutely stunning Punisher Magazine cover! I love this era of Jim Lee art and this one of the best from that decade. It's not his more familiar black and white line art style, but it's cool because it's so unique. Has the Punisher ever looked more terrifying? I think not. Congrats on a fantastic pick-up!

So awesome! Love how Frank is mostly shadowed, and the combo effect of the lighting from the lightning AND the rain?! SUBLIME stuff. One of Lee's best color pieces. Big congrats!
