Description

Thor destroys the God Bomb and takes on the All-Black symbiote.

My first Ribic piece as well as my first piece from one of my favorite comic arcs of all time. I only started collecting original art recently and missed out on the best pieces from Ribic and Aaron's God Butcher / God Bomb story. I couldn't pass up the opportunity to acquire this piece from a fellow CAF'er when I saw it go up for sale. This page is one of the only full splash pages done by Ribic in the run and arguably one of the best pages of the entire story.

This piece also highlights the interesting process that went into producing the published page. Ribic has penciled and inked the right side of the page as well as asymmetrical elements on the left side. The piece was then digitally mirrored and colored in order to create the final published page.

I feel incredibly lucky to own this climatic page and start my Ribic Thor collection.

Great interior Ribic example and man did he knock it out of the park on this arc! Congrats on picking up this illustration of a very key moment!
