DescriptionYet another example of Ribic's process of patching and pasting to complete a page. Elsewhere in my gallery and included as an additional image, I have the Thor and Iron Man patch which comprises the second panel. It seems likely there's yet another patch out there with Iron Man's face from the last panel.Infinite gratitude to Tom H for thinking of me and helping to reunite the page and the patch. A true class act in the hobby and curator of one of the world's most enviable Ribic collections. Published: December 19, 2012 Social/Sharing |

I always still trip out a bit on Ribic's process. Very cool to see the separte parts visually, and I imagine, even coolor to marry those pieces up when you can in terms of the OA. Congrats on that in this instance, Rob!

I'm just surprised that these weren't all kept together to be sold as a set. It looks like a tough challenge and an undertaking for a true fan such as yourself.

The disbursement of Ribic art is definitely odd. It seems to get split across several dealers. Keeping a "page" together is especially hard as well since sometimes - like here - the patch actually has components to multiple pages (e.g.; the unicorn on this patch). It's both frustrating and fulfilling to collect - a puzzle within a puzzle of sorts.
