DescriptionThis is the May. Day 09. Thirty-One days of Star Wars continues...From the official story tease - the galaxy’s shadiest archaeologist is doing what she does best, busting into alien temples to steal horrifying weapons for huge profit. Battling droids, crawling through service ducts, reviewing a holo-vid from the client, and her (sorta?) young ward Vulaada Klam in tow. A pretty good start for a number of Doctor Aphra pages to come this month. In fact, it was a shopping trip through the offerings at Chiaroscuro’s for sale galleries that led to this idea of a month of Star Wars interior pages. But I am going to keep mixing things up every few days. So no worries. This page has a small coffee stain in the third panel. Who needs a COA with that drip of authenticity? Social/Sharing |

Agreed. I love the humor in the series as well as the fact that she is alway hunting for treasure. I mean who doesn't love a treasure hunt. Capitalize Disney.

I just need the world at my feet
Light sabers cut me through the bone
And I won't miss the archeology
Objects that were carved in stone
If I flip artwork to the Darth of the town
Then profits will be for myself
I'll get over on you I know I will
I'll pretend my art's worth doubling
And Rebels my sale pays over you
'Cause I'm the Doc of wishful thinking
I am the Doc Aphra that's flipping

Fantastic! I dont think I was reading this deep into Aphra but the art alone is compelling me to go back and finish it. Congrats!

Ooh, I really like Wilton's thin pencil lines and although I'm not a Manga fan, I especially like that he infuses the faces with a Manga style, yet not quite as cartoony so it still looks inspired by Manga but also remains fairly realistic. Really cool!
