Description

Adding another page from this issue and series. Another eBay pick-up. Mace Windu finally confronts AD-W4 (the mercenary droid in charge of Separatist forces) in the series' final issue. At a slight disadvantage in the moment, dare I say that Mace is taking it to the face?!

Denys Cowan pencils on another board out there, somewhere.

Some really nice images here. I have to admit that although I typically profer inkers to keep the rough, scratchiness of Cowan's pencils, Poggi's "clean it up" approach still leaves quite a nicely finished product.

He's Cowan all over the face
It don't have to say a word
Just smile a smile a smile
A style for me
He's beaten the Jedi worst I ever heard

I know inked by a very Poggi guy
To have some art from you
I never saber twirl in my life like you before
You make Cowan's dreams come true

I love the way you claim it too
You have a lot of class and good Mace
Windu don't have to say how much you care for me
Because he's beaten all over the face

Your description immediately made me flash back to being a teenager in New York in the 1990s where "Mase in your face" was a catchphrase of Anthony Mason and the Knicks. Good times! And cool page!
