DescriptionDay 16. Thirty-one days of Star Wars (2025 edition).Another pair of consecutive panel pages, this time with Mace Windu. Here is a Denys Cowan pencil board, purchased from him at OAX 2025. Roberto Poggi inked printed blue lines on a separate board. Yoda finds Windu and wishes to have a final word with him after a Jedi Council meeting, before Mace leaves for his journey as he senses that he’s troubled. When Mace says that these are troubling times and doubt clouds his mind, Yoda informs him to not doubt the ways of the Force as it tests them but leads them where they need to be. He also shouldn’t doubt himself as he’s a wise and capable leader, and while Mace believes that too many lives were lost on Geonosis, Yoda asks him how many more will die if he doesn’t lead and fight. Before Windu departs, Yoda reminds him to trust in the Force and in himself, as he too trusts in him. This is the May! Social/Sharing |

Nice sequential OAX pickups! I never get tired of seeing scenes between these 2 great Jedi Masters of the Council!

When something so near and dear to life explodes and die

When Cowan’s so deep and so far and wise falls down beside
Jedi’s can be heard so loud and clear, oh

Since I think Mace Windu was horribly cast with an actor that has ZERO range, you'd think I might not like this page. But thankfully, Cowan is a brilliant artist, and in space, no one can hear you speak!

Palpable tension - I think everyone agrees that Anakin should not be granted the rank of Master.
