Lucky enough to have gotten this directly from Greg several years back. This was Greg's 3rd Spawn cover, after doing the covers starting with issue 16. I presume Todd has kept all of his covers for Spawn issues 1 to 15, making this one of the earliest Spawn covers available in the market.

Really cool! Capullo was catapulted to superstar status on Spawn! There were detractors early on because he wasn't Todd and he had an edge about him that drove him to strive even harder to win people over!

Boy, these Batman/Spawn variants are getting out of hand! ;-) Of course I'm kidding, this is straight about of my nostalgic sweet spot "era" & an absolutely beautiful early Spawn cover! Thanks so much for sharing!

Very cool pick-up! Capullo carried on the legacy of Spawn beautfiully. I think his covers are some of the Spawn's very best. Even on this early cover, you can see he's creating a classic Spawn scene, filled with all sorts of detail like skulls and chains and bats and rats galore! McFarlane created Spawn, but Capullo adopted him.
