I picked up this amazing piece from Mike at the LA Comic Art Show this past weekend. I saw a piece similar to this at SDCC but couldn�t pick it up at the time and it was haunting me so I�m incredibly happy to add this one to my collection. I love the way Mike draws bats and no one draws a better Victorian suit so these pieces really tick all the boxes for me. Thank you so much Mike, you�re one of the nicest guys in comics!

Update 6/21 - Finally remembered to add a pic of the discarded Hellboy cover pencils on the back of the piece!

Such a great piece, I love alll of Mike's stuff but of late have been especially enjoying these quirky little gothic images that he seems to enjoy doing for himself. This is an excellent and unique example--congrats!

Thanks! He mentioned that these animal head guys were going to be in an artbook at one point so I really hope that happens. I would absolutely love a book of all the personal non HB related drawings he does.

Thanks! You have an incredible collection! The art itself is roughly 5x8 on the back of a 11x17 Dark Horse page that has been cut in half. I'll have to add a picture of the discarded Hellboy cover pencils on the back at some point.
