DescriptionI picked this up from the most recent Heritage Event Auction. I didn’t have a Hitch piece or an FF cover so I’ve checked both of those off with this but what I really liked was 1) the Sue and Ben illustrations and 2) that there were multiple drawings done on different boards that resulted in the final published piece. I think it’s neat how all of those iterations ended up (or didn’t!) in the final product. Hey, understandable how the intro of the Ultimate FF would be presented was a process :)There are 5 total boards. The first is the main image. The second is an additional drawing of Sue that ended up being used as a patch since they apparently wanted a different look. The third is some outlining of parts of Ben and Johnny to layer to exhibit Sue’s invisibility power. The fourth is a fire effects layer for Johnny, and the last is another, more detailed, skeletal fire effects layer that they ended up not using. Pretty cool having these multiple pieces that all ended up contributing in some way to what ended up being published. Hope y’all like! Social/Sharing |

Thanks, George! Been a while since I got a comment on this one, lol...still love it. So far it's stayed as my one and done Hitch example. Well, not one and done as far as actual number of art boards per se as there are 5 with this lot, but you get it! I, too, love having all the process pieces...definitely adds to the enjoyment of owning!
