Description

Cover dated August 2010. Chapter 10 of the �Second Coming� crossover.

In this chapter of the story, X-Force and Cypher travel into the future to destroy at the source the Sentinels that have been attacking them in the present. There are shades of �Days of Future Past� here as the team encounters a version of the famous poster from the cover of Uncanny X-Men #141.

The Dodsons once again demonstrate why they�ve been such a popular art team for so long. The ability to combine visually striking characters with solid sequential storytelling is rare, but they�ve got it.

Oh, man - those awesome Dodsons! Not content to be merely superb storytellers, they're always able to give their characters just the right moment to shine (in both a narrative and illustrative sense). Love the big splash of X-23, of course (but there are great characters and details throughout!), and when infused with the drama of referencing the cover of Uncanny 141, the effect is magical. Really great page, Michael! Congrats!
