Description

who needs superhero's battling super villains when you have a beautiful title page to the Dreaming issue 9 featuring this full-page slash of A gothic cathedral on a person's wedding day? There is so much detail in the building itself to keep you busy studying it. the one piece that captured my eye was the crying cherub. that's something that one doesn't want to see on the happiest day of your life. Just an amazing piece that I purchased from Will-Gabri-El at the N.J. comicart con.

I've always been a big fan of skillfully illustrated architecture in comics, so splash pages like this one are always glorious to see and appreciate!

thanks Ruben. it really catches the eye with the elegant detail put into the cathedral and the statues in front of it.

St Patrick’s Cathedral in Midtown NYC. One of the most picturesque in all of New York and dating back to 1878. You can probably guess this love story isn't going to be all happily after ever.

it's new york. either the wedding party will get gunned down on their way into the church or a bunch of large rats will carry off the bride as the groom is speaking his wedding vows.
