Fantastic and I thought of the Krazy Kat connection right away with the changing backgrounds and language but others have pointed that out too. All kinds of brilliance.

Like a Zen Buddhist koan, it is up to the viewer to tease out the strip's meaning while simultaneously taking in the spare beauty of Jones' art (whatever it may be).
