Description*Deep Breath*Pepe Larraz is a generational talent. He slowly built up his resume at Marvel till he went super-nova on House of X and stamped himself as one of (maybe THE?) definitive X-Men artists of the last couple of decades. His comic work weaves in and out between mostly digital interiors to some traditional covers so "hard to get" is an understatement. When this cover was teased, I was floored. I was downright ecstatic when I managed to nab the original art. It’s truly an art-lover's dream - precision micron cross-hatching on the bike, gouache, white-out, ink wash, screentones. Just unbelievable execution. He proves beyond a shadow of a doubt that he has the chops to walk in both the digital and traditional realms and can damn well do as he pleases. The sign says "Welcome to Hell" but this one is a slice of art heaven. Social/Sharing |

Jawdroppingly cool! I love Ghost Rider and this is one of the most awesome Ghost Rider covers I've seen. Totally kick-ass cool!

Ghost Rider has always been a character that has the potential to be illustrated in the most badass ways possible, and Larraz has just killed it with this. The pose, the chain, the bike, and the fire! So much fire! I've never seen a warmer welcome to hell. Congrats, this is a really outstanding cover.

Exceptional(ly pricy).
I agree about his level of skills. He is the next Coipel to me and may even be better than him (in the sense that he doesn't shy away from drawing backgrounds ;)

It's a shame Pepe doesn't do more physical artwork, but the few he lets loose are just masterpieces, and this is no exception. Huge congrats!

Wow. I can't believe I missed when you posted this. This is just an incredible piece of art. You don't need a single other Ghost Rider piece if you own this one. Congrats, Eranga! An absolute beauty!

Ohe yes, there 'tis! Absolutely one of Pepe's best pieces and that's saying somthing. So much presence, energy, pure illustration is tops...too good, man. And the tonal work - Pepe's second to none in that regard. BIG congrats, man!
