DescriptionDeath of the Endless by Rachta Lin, mixed media commission @ C2E2 2022.This is the 8th piece from Rachta in my collection as I've enjoyed supporting her unique Manga style ever since I first discovered her work, and it was great seeing her at a show in artist alley again after such a long absence (wasn't as easy for her to travel to cons from Singapore during the pandemic). I really love how this Death of the Endless commission turned out (from Neil Gaiman's Sandman of course) with all the little background details and everything. This was on an A4 size board. Wel, this certainly is a far sexier depiction of Death than they depicted her throughout the Sandman series, isn't it? Damn, dude! 😍

The sexy "bedroom eyes" image is a different look for Dream's older sister. I do like the colors and how the artist weaves the skulls and wings into the mist surrounding her.

Love the anime take - and the colors are muted enough to match the subject, but the femine anime approach also softens them.

Very great! I knew Rachta was at C2E2 but somehow I didn't manage to connect with her this time. She did a great White Queen for me a couple years back at the show.

I like the subtlety of the watercolor skulls in the background. They are as effervescent as bubbles. Nice piece!
