Description

Jungle Action issue 17, page 27.

This is a page from the climax scene of Panther's Rage where Black Panther and Killmonger duke it out to the death.

We see here how Graham sets up the finale of the book as Kantu, but a tiny black figure in panels 2 and 6, sneaks up to the epic battle.

I used to own the following splash page (page 30 of the comic) but made a compelling trade for something else a long time ago. That's how it goes in this hobby!

That's great 70's style storytelling with drama, prose, and scenic views! It combined these techniques to create new and fresh comics.

"That's how it goes in this hobby" - truer words ne'er spoken :) Great penultimate page here, and I love that you've got the small silhouette of Kantu at the bottom right. And you gotta dig how the lettering throughout, and there's a decent amount of it, is incorporated into the layout and imagery. Awesome. Congrats, Don!
