written by Len Wein & Paul Levitz

On Medivac-Lab on Mercury, Lightning Lad has led a team to check up on Karate Kid. He had left a vid-tape message at Legion HQ saying that he was heading there.
When the Legionnaires arrive they find Karate Kid is fine but the doctor tells them that staff and patients have been disappearing every night with no explanation. The Legion agrees to stay on and investigate the issue.

I was never a big Staton fan, but every now and then I felt he looked better when a strong inker worked with him. This is a perfect example of what I'm talking about. Stunning content and beautiful finishes, a real winner!
