DescriptionR.I.P. Neil Peart - who gave us not only some of the greatest drum solos, but also some of the most meaningful lyrics in rock music.I was aware of Rush as a kid in the late 70's to mid-80's, but became a true fan after seeing them in concert on the Hold Your Fire tour in 1987. I went on to see them numerous times up through their final tour in 2015. I was always hoping they'd come back to do another show, but sadly that's no longer possible. As a Rush and comics fan, I was excited when this issue came out in 1992. The story/art was a little disappointing, but I always thought the cover painting was great and couldn’t resist when it showed up for sale on eBay in 2016. This was reused in butchered fashion (with color/detail removed) for the cover of Canadian Rock Special #1 (1994) Social/Sharing |

I've always wondered if this piece of artwork still existed. Thanks for posting! As a musician and RUSH fan, the R'n'RC comic book has always been one of my favorite pieces of their historic memorabilia. I can rest well now knowing the original cover art is safe and well appreciated.....lol.

Thanks Brian. It's a sad time to be a Rush fan, but thankful that I got to see so many of their shows between 1987 and 2015.

Very cool, I love RUSH, awesome when you can combine a couple of your interests on one piece! I keep reading about all these great pieces bought on eBay, damn, I didn't see that!
