Kitson's style shines on this cover. It has swift action and peril with a big villain's intimidating presence. Azrael was the Superhero styled book in all of the Bat Family titles during this period. It has the clean linework and bright colors that doesn't try to be messy and fully takes advantage of the slick paper stock that was being introduced to the DC line.
