I completely agree! Of all the countless films he worked on I personally feel this was his best work. Some of his early depictions of Middle Earth for this film are right up there with the best Tolkien artists.

He did a full shot of the shire which I passed on, dep regret. It was amazing. I love the characters in this piece.
