DescriptionI've clearly got a thing for Gaiman & Buckingham's stories that comprised Book 4 of the Miracleman saga in the early 1990's. IMHO, just outstanding graphic storytelling, so adding the cover to the Eclipse book that pulled it all together in one collected graphic novel makes me a pretty happy guy. This was also the back cover to issue #23, hence the placement in this gallery! Mark Buckingham captured the character and the 'season' he was in so perfectly - just a striking image from a creator at the top of his game!Social/Sharing |

Lovely. Perhaps THE representative piece from the Gaiman era to me. Congrats!!

As much as Alan Moore and cie are associated with Miracleman, Gaiman and Bucky's run was certainly ok ;)
What a glorious color piece.

I actually never read the series after issue #15, but the art certainly continued to capture the imagination aftrer the Totleben run. You are certainly becoming the Miracle Man, Chris!

Beautiful golden sunset with three light trails unifying the image by hitting the figure at the head, belt and knees. Brilliant!

Definitely ended up in its rightful home, Mr K. Was there ever any doubt?? Signature piece of the Bucky MM run. And I still have that Eclipse HC.

Great layout, the eye keeps moving between the negative space of the sky to the figure. It really keeps your attention.
