DescriptionPERRY RHODAN #1356 (Original Cover Art) - Johnny Bruck (* March 22, 1921; † October 6, 1995).»Der Sonnensucher« (The Sun Seeker) is episode #1362 of the German science fiction pulp-series PERRY RHODAN. Published September 29, 1987. Gouache on illustration board. Roughly 14 x 20 in. The piece has an interesting signature (J. PLASTERER). After a Vespa accident in 1987, Johnny Bruck continued painting with a broken right hand. The PR covers #1362 - 1369 of that time, all have J. PLASTER or J. PLASTERER as signature. Social/Sharing |

Really interesting he wanted to make a distinction of his "broken hand" period with this alt signature. He was relentless!
