DescriptionGrendel vs Shadow #2, pg. 47 - 2014The first of a dynamic 2-page sequence I own by the great Matt Wagner from his series pitting two of my favorite comic characters against each other. Hunter Rose and Lamont Cranston AKA Grendel and The Shadow. This page depicts Grendel discovering The Shadow's secret lair following the dirt on his shoes to the hidden panel in the wall. Grendel is about to retrieve his fork which The Shadow had stolen earlier. This page leads into an incredible splash page (48). Ink over blue pencil and graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 9" x 13". Signed by Matt Wagner in the lower margin. Social/Sharing |
