Description

Once I saw this oil painting of Storm by Ingrid Gala I knew I had to buy it for my wife, who absolutely loves it. Her rendering of Ororo was so unique, I just love her facial expression and that she's got this regal outfit and not her usual X-Men garb. I love everything about it, the color, the crackle, the colors, the mood. You can see in her eyes that she's thinking about her love - is it Forge? Black Panther?

This is truly majestic! The lighting alone arrests the viewer before the textures become part of the experience. You have eXtremely romantic taste. Congrats on this wonderful vision of one of my favorite mutants ever!

She's holding her hand over her heart as an expression of love and the bit of wind makes her gown flow. Gala paints this like a romance novel cover. It's so pretty with the electicity as the light source. Especially nice when it's reflected on her face bringing out hints of orange and red.
