DescriptionOkay, I am going to say that this isn't a very strong closing page. I find it somewhat random given all the previous pages setting up the competition, Yogi and Boo Boo not eating, stealing Ranger Smith's jeep and all. It seems like there would be some better ways to close. And the name on the truck being "Rigor Mortis Casket" is a bit dark while being over the heads of the kiddies reading this. I'm hoping someone reading this could even suggest a better way to finish the story. Like being inside a PIE delivery truck being driven by Huckleberry Hound or Quick Draw McGraw?Even with that, I still think it is an interesting snapshot of the stories that came out from Charlton in the 1970s. The switch in the setting in the previous page sealed it up that it was going to be a cemetary vehicle. If they crashed and got in a random truck and got a rough ride back to Jellystone, it could have went two ways. Possibility number one: In the last panel it was revealed that they were in a pie delivery truck where they were covered with pies to match the pie fight pages. Possibility number two: They could have gotten into a truck with a lot of cocaine being smuggled and they went wild in the last act causing bloody carnage across the country trying to find their next fix. It leads to them to George Jung where they take over the smuggling business.

When Yogi was a little bear, he made a wish that Boo Boo, his beloved teddy bear, would come alive. Thirty years later, foul-mouthed Boo Boo is still John's constant companion, much to the chagrin of Cindy, Yogi's girlfriend. Though Cindy's displeasure is exacerbated by the pair's constant consumption of beer and weed, she's not the one who's most disappointed with Yogi; it may take the intervention of Yogi's boyhood toy to help him grow up at last.

So that's a twist in the mythos I never saw coming!
