Description

A chilling moment of realization as Christine Spar AKA Grendel faces off against Tujiro XIV. Despite her amazing last line "Oh, I could feel your death" which really is a great catchphrase, the Kabuki vampire lives another 800 years while sadly, Christine only makes it another 9 issues. RIP to my favorite Grendel of all time.

I was caught up in Comico mania with their high quality paper, airbrushed painted covers, and very contemporary fashions. They were slick like MTV videos, seemed more cool and got away with more. None better example than this with ninjas and kabuki stuff already made cool in all comics during the Wolverine mini.

Great observation as always, Marcus, those Comico issues just jumped off the shelf, they really went the extra mile and were edgy and cool.
