How is Old Man Bub gonna get out of this one, Bub?

A highlight (among many) of Heroes this year was finally getting to meet Kevin Catalan! It felt like it was a long time coming, and when I arrived at his booth he had this insane 17�x22� DPS waiting for me! It was an absolute pleasure to get to talk to Kevin, and not only is he an artist I fully support, but also someone who I can now call a friend.

In regards to commission execution, I don't think I could ask for anything more. Wolverine is in dire straits here, impaled and restrained, as Magneto is enveloping him with Sentinels. Keyword here is Sentinels in the plural form. My request to Kevin was Wolverine versus Magneto with Sentinels, and I got a 3 Piece Band! I love what he did with the metal wreckage as it evokes a feel of James Harren design. Overall, I feel like the piece came together wonderfully and I could not be more pleased.

Poor Wolvie, Magneto is just playing with him...it's not going to end well. Great piece Tyler! The guy is clearly not sparing the ink or energy for you with every piece he does for you!

It's like Catalan got the best of Jim Lee for Magneto, Adam Kubert for Wolverine, James Harren for the Sentinels and a full dosage of his own style to meld them all together!

A Catalstrophic Clash! I had the plearure of seeing this in person at Heroes, and the bad judgement of not stealing it straight out of the portfolio. Curses! And Congrats! You chose wisely.

So much personality and emotion in this fantastic drawing! The white halos around the principles draw the eye right to the important action despite the welter of machinery filling the scene. Such a unique piece

I saw this in person at Kevin's table before I knew it was yours! BIG congrats, man. Unreal in person. Kevin felt bad letting it go after he was done as he liked it so much! Not hard to see why :)
