My 20th Stingray commission! On a 9x12 piece of comic board by Sean Chen. Commissioned at Baltimore Comic-Con.

I love how Sean was able to create a sense of depth by adding a few sharks in the upper part of the image. The way he hints at Stingray's facial features is also really cool.

I paid for black and white but Sean wasn't happy with how it turned out. He said that with all the black at the bottom of the page, the figure disappeared. So he decided that the only way to fix it was to color it by painting it. We love color and free upgrades!!!

Well, Stingray, that is a helluva Stingray! I love how the sharks are circling in the arc made by the shape of his body. That kind of stuff is the difference between someone who can draw and an artist. Was a pleasure to meet you and Sean this past weekend.
