DescriptionBagley Week, Final Day Seven! (Phew, he's finally done!)I thought I'd end the week with a nice example from his historic 111-issue run on Ultimate Spider-Man. This fun double page spread features a ... well, I want to say battle sequence, but it's more like a growly Kraven throwing punch after punch as Spidey easily evades each one and says things like "Man, I am NOT in the mood for this" and "Dude, cut it out." Hahaha! It's moments like this that made me really enjoy the lighter feel of Ultimate Spider-Man (though it had its fair share of darker moments too). Excellent DPS to end Bagley week! I know you've got quite a few (understatement) Bagley pieces hidden but it's really awesome of you to share all of these over this past week! I think you should it going for a month!

First it was Octavio's Kraven cover, now it's you and this Kraven DPS. I love it! Great week of Bagley posts!

You can do a Bagley year as far as I'm concerned, that would make my year as I never tire of watching Mark's work. Your collection is getting better and better each day, Paul. Congrats on that double spread. USM was a great series and a particularly clever and interesting reimagining of Spidey's life for the 00's.

Way to close out Bagley week! USM really did have some fun and different takes on these characters, with Kraven here easily being bested right before the Spidey knockout punch :) You got a killer splashy shot of Kraven first followed by those great evasion panels after. A winning spread all around, Paul. Congrats, man!

Congrats, for a Kraven DPS, Paul! I really like Bagley's move-lines. You pushed yourself in a "Paul's weekly news" theme, without end. What's next? I would prefer an "Ramos interiors week". Congrats, Paul. Your collection is damn great!

MAN, do I love this one! This beautiful DPS sums up everything that Ultimate Spider-Man did right; it was exciting and bold, it was witty and briliantly constructed, and so, SO pretty to look at. A great addition to a collection that just keeps getting better and better... and better... AND BETTER. :) Really, really super pick up, Paul. Really love this one! Congrats!

Thank you so much for the heartfelt, ethusiastic and very kind words. I'm such a huge fan of Mark Bagley (and his amazing inkers, like Art Thibert here), so when I hear someone else gushing about his work, it makes me very happy.

this was a very memorable encounter - and agree, the USM run had this perfect balance of light heartedness and seriousness/darkness at times. it kept me engrossed the entire way
