Really nice looking figures, but that Secret Wars II #1 inspired shadow makes me want to know what the ultimate mystery was, whether it was solved, and if so, who solved it! SO glad we get to see the original intent for The Thing, as nobody who hadn't read this series would have ever guessed who that pink guy is supposed to be.

Oh, and I've never mentioned it before, but whose idea (creator's name) was it to have Iceman wear a fucking do-rag and why have I never heard or read a single word about "cultural appropriation" when it happened? Seriously, the most ibecillic idea ever made relating to Iceman. He looks so unbelievably stupid with that thing on!

Fabulous cover! Love the bandana (?) on iceman in particular. compositionally reminds me of the secret wars II promo art - making me ask myself - is that the Beyonder casting that shadow?!

The original is so much nicer!  Not a fan of glowing purple Ben. Sometimes these dang editors think they know more than the artists.  Wrong!  Great cover, Paul.

Definitely a nice set up page, making you want to see who's shadowed on the inside!  But will we find out?!  Only one way :)

And I'm always impressed when Humberto inks himself.  FINE lines.  Congrats!
