DescriptionThis is probably my favorite piece in my collection.I tend to be a cover guy, not a panel guy. But something about these panels -- the way that all three characters are in a very realistic looking cave on the left side, and then how each of the three get their own panel on the right side -- really leaves me in awe. This is the 5th book to ever have Thanos in it (first IM55 and then CM 25-29), so to own a piece of history is pretty cool too. Jim Starlin art from this era always makes me happy. Special thanks to Bill Woo for this one! Social/Sharing |

Fabulous Captain Marvel page by the great Jim Starlin! What a terrific confrontation between Thanos and the Destroyer! The bombastic language of the two protagonists is only matched by their powerful body language. Both stand proudly and defiantly, ready to take each other on! And the hooded figure of Death projects a sense of menace, as you might expect. The inks by Dan Green and John Romita as just perfect, they give each character such solidity and depth. It's a phenomenal page, I can see why you love it.
