Description17”x26” (frame 24”x32”) Painted 1960; purchased in 2022. Painting was originally published in the June 1960 edition of Male magazine (Vol. 10, No. 6) on pages 12 and 13 for the story by Ray Lunt title, Joe Boyle: Woman-Hunter, Warrior, Czar of the Pacific. It was also published on page 18 and 22 of the book, Pollen’s Women, The Art of Samson Pollen, edited by Robert Deis & Wyatt Doyle, published in January 2018.Social/Sharing |

Love the humor in this one.nice to see the text in the art..a spot usually found empty 8n the originals. Congrats!

Thank you! It was empty space. I photocopied the magazine, adjusted the image in photoshop to the correct size, printed it with a "tail" long enough to get under the mat, and then attached it to the back of the mat.

A very showy cabaret of bountious beauties all in that red, black, and white color palette associated with gambling and showgirl establishments full of sex and danger. The long leg is stunning going across the center space. It is a illustration sensation of celebration with the machismo finely presented.
