DescriptionI was so happy to get this splash, because I love any battle page between Venom and Peter Parker/Spider-Man.I was especially happy to be able to get the page preceding this one as well, where Chasm (Ben Reilly in his new costume/persona) confronts Peter after being MIA for a while. Great image that leaps off the page! But how is Venom using Spidey as a surfboard? And is Venom morphing into Doomsday? I'm cringing as I look at Spidey's head, as it looks like any second now Venom's going to pop it like a grape!

Congrats, Venom vs. Spidey fight scenes are always my favorites! One of the best pages of this issue!

A new herald of Galactus, The Symbiote Surfer! Muscles upon inky muscles by McGuinness! The layout even forces us to look at how strong the top image is.

All I got is a dumb "stick the landing" joke, so I'll pass on that, but a terrific McGuinness add that (in his inimitable way) explodes off the page with his slick and beautiful cartoony (as a compliment) style. THIS is pulse-pounding, beautifully drawn comics (as you're well aware), Paul! Another super pick up! Congrats, man!

Surfs up! Ok, only Venom could surf Spidey like that and only you could drop so much Spider-Goodness like that. :) Love this splash page, and those smooth pencils and inks! And you got yourself sequential pages, too. Double the congrats, Paul! Venomous

That darned Duke Fleed stole my thunder. I was gonna go with the whole surfboard riding Venom, alas it was not meant to be. Awesome splash!

Oh congrats on hitting on this one! Great page - definitely jealous! As much as we see Venom art, and as much as see McGuinness art, not sure we've seen much McGuinness Venom! Let alone as nice as this. With him having such the clear upper hand, too, it reminds me of them '90s ASM books :) Congrats!
