DescriptionI've been wanting to pick up a nice representative piece from the Gi Joe series. The problem has been people beating me to the best ones, at least until now. These two pages have scenes from both of these characters that have led them up to this point.I like how this series has treated Cobra Commander thus far. In the cartoons he was always a sniveling wimp or some elses B. Duke and Cobra Commander meet for the first time on the last page of the previous issue. Here we have the showdown everyone has been expecting. Cobra Commander tries to either stall/distract Duke or whoo him to the side of Cobra. Either way from this point forward in the story it is an all out brawl. Social/Sharing |

That recaps the mini series of both 5 issues of Duke and 5 issues of Cobra Commander before they launched the new GI Jose series. A visual treat that rewards the loyal readership as this would have been a year in of building the storylines before it got here!

Also, I believe the cobra Commander series was all done digital so at this point thats the only way youre gonna get that montage from his side of the ledger

It's a great looking montage, so this is proof that staying patient pays dividends!

I don't even like GI Joe, but I love these pages.

I wasnt a big G.I. Joe reader back in the day when Marvel was publishing, but they did a really good job character building on all the series

Killer two pages my friend! Everything on the GI Joe side of things has been built on these two characters & to have a beautiful recap of both of their mini series here with all of the important Joe & Cobra characters present. This is an excellent pick up!
Also, you're correct, the CC mini was drawn digitally so this really is the next best thing when it comes to the events of that series!
Congrats again!!
