DescriptionFritz always had a bit of a competitive spirit, in art, baseball, photography, you name it! When he got the chance for this story, his old competitive spirit came out with his pal Wally Wood, who had done this story initially in Shock Suspense Stories #9 (1953).It's a wonderful story, though it probably wouldn't have garnered as much interest if Gaines wouldn't have commissioned it from Frazetta, who was trying something new, intense inks. Nobody draws animals like Frazetta could --- several panels in this amazing story were clearly designed to show off his animals and this one's so much fun to gaze at. The inks are unreal
