Really great splash page. I like the collaboration here between Kupperberg and Mooney.

Now, how much lovable was this period and were those artist like Kuppenberg? I couldn't tell. But, at least in my head, an image like this represents the deepest essence of american comics. Great, perfect page.

Now that's the Spidey I grew up on as remembered best - swinging through the city just like the cartoons! What a fantastic splash - love Mooney's inks on Kupperberg (love Mooney period) giving him an even more classic feel.
