DescriptionI'm absolutely thrilled to share with you my very first cover! What makes it even more special is that it's the debut issue of the new Conan the Barbarian series, brought to life by the incredibly talented artist Roberto De La Torre and writer Jim Zub.Roberto's artistic style is truly in a league of its own. He brings a fresh and captivating look to the iconic barbarian character that I haven't seen in quite some time. While I can certainly appreciate the influences of other artists, Roberto's unique approach sets him apart, resulting in truly outstanding artwork. Having had the pleasure of commissioning a few pieces from Roberto myself, I can confidently say that each one has exceeded my expectations. So when I learned that he had been chosen as the artist for the new Conan series, I eagerly kept an eye out for any glimpses of his art for the book. When I stumbled upon the cover online, I couldn't resist reaching out to him. Honestly, I didn't think I would be lucky enough to own it, but as fate would have it, I did! Roberto truly is an exceptionally talented artist, and I couldn't be more excited to have this incredible piece of art in my collection. Social/Sharing |

Great storytelling in this cover! It's a pinch point where an ambush can happen and does! It's so metal with blood thirsty hatchets and axes! The figurework is reminscent of the masters of the sword and sorcery field.

Terrific action cover that delivers everything a Conan cover should. Very Buscema influenced Conan too which is a classic. Very nice!

Classic Buscema/BWS fighting Conan homage. De La Torre has been on fire embracing his influences.

Huge congrats on your first cover! Rob is an excellent artist and his Conan is fantastic. Can't wait to read the first issue!
