I've been wanting a Pepe Larraz watercolor for a while, so when this appeared on CAF Live I couldn't resist. I'm a huge Pepe fan to begin with, and I love the mixed media techniques he employs with his commissions. I appreciate when an artist can take their digital comic style into traditional media and excel. From what I can tell this piece is graphite pencil, colored pencil, watercolor, and white acrylic. Apart from the dynamic poses that Pepe showcases in all his work, I'm quite impressed by the color scheme-- a simple complimentary contrast of red vs green (but given depth with some red/orange and yellow/green atmospheric attention) conveys the battle sides pefectly.
