With COMIC ART LIVE show happening this weekend, I thought I would post the pieces I bought in the previous COMIC ART LIVE event. Starting with this stunner.

Marshall known for his Batman, delivers the Dark Knight Detective as only he can. A creature of the night lurking within the shadows. This is what I picture when I think of Batman.

Love everything about this piece. Batman, the cape blending into the shadows, the backgrounds, all of it great! I even like that you can see the marker strokes. I wasn't looking to add another Rogers Batman but this one stood out and I kept coming back to it. I couldn't pass on it, it was just too cool. The second of four pieces I bought.

All of it is marker, except for Batman's head and belt, and still as black as when Rogers drew it.

Really nice with all the details done and the framework finished before Rogers went over it again with more thick markers just to fill in the atmopshere.

It's a great marker sketch and so amazing to see that the ink didn't fade over time!
