DescriptionI’ve been extremely impressed by every Dani piece that I’ve seen posted to CAF, so I knew I had to grab a spot when she opened her commission list last year. The only question was which character to request from her. I thought that Dazzler in her original disco outfit would be a great fit for Dani’s talent, and she more than proved me right. This is everything I could have hoped for.Thank you to Dani and the Cadence crew for making this happen! Social/Sharing |

Great choice.Dani does such a bang up job with Marvel's only fun mutant.

Dani has been doing really impressive work. Like yourself, I've also really enjoyed all the pieces that people have been posting and this one is no exception. Great Dazzler!

Bravo! Although now that I've seen the video you linked to, I'm wishing I had requested a dancing man in a glittery spacesuit to be inserted into the background.

Great looking piece. Dani's use of negative space always makes pieces look amazing even from a distance!

I agree! There's a clarity to so much of her work that even when looking at thumbnail pics her art stands out from the crowd. Thank you to you (and everyone else who commented) for the great comment!

Really fun old school Dazzler piece. Great job on her outfit and eye makeup. There's a real Miller-esque vibe to this when I look at it up close. Her face (and especially the linework on her lips) looks like someone straight out of Sin City. I can almost hear some loud disco music blaring with this piece.

I agree about the Sin City feel to Dani's art. There's another piece on CAF that she did of Gail from Sin City, and the first time I saw it I thought for a moment that it was Frank's art. Thanks for the great comment!

SO cool! Lots to love, but it is the texture lent to the piece through the excellent depiction of the sequins and sparkles (including the incredible detailing around her eyes!) that makes me want to stand up and get down and boogie. Love that (in typical Dani fashion) it's the darkness that defines this dashing (dazzling!) denizen of disco. Outstanding choice of commission for Dani, Michael, and congrats on the results! Beautiful piece!

Thanks! Yeah, I'm amazed by what she did with the sequins. The attention to detail is incredible.

Oh yeah! Dani is the perfect artist to pair with Dazzler! Dani obviously gets the whole 80's club scene. I love the way she's dressed Dazzler in a sequined jumpsuit with huge bell bottoms. It's a great outfit--Perfect for crashing Studio 57 and all those other clubs of that time!
