DescriptionPosting two fun covers by Mike Manley tonight.Of course I love that Spider-Man is featured in this image, but you also get the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants! And some dude named Portal, though I don't remember much about him. And for some reason, he hasn't appeared in any recent major Marvel events. I'm sure that Marvel is saving him for something HUGE. Spidey and the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants? I'm in! A great 90's cover, no doubt. I can't help thinking though, how excruciating it had to have been for a guy like Mike Manley to essentially be 'forced' to try drawing "The Image Way" in order to keep getting work. Though I suppose that can be said for most artists working at Marvel and DC at the time.

I guess you didn't hear about the new Portal Netflix series - try and stay up, Paul, geez ;) I do remember this cover! - total '90s crossover goodness! Don't see a ton of Manley's DH stuff on CAF so thanks for posting, and congrats!

For a "B-list" title, Darkhawk had the best covers. Probably why he had such a devout following. Portal was the other Darkhawk who appeared in issue #5. I wish I had a Portal page from that book.

After the battle Portal left through a dimensonal warp. Gota little turned around. Asked Janeway for directions and that was that.
