Right on, Michael!  Who -doesn't- remember this page?  Terrific storytelling in the clean, crisp stylings of Hester and Parks!  This makes full use of a vertical layout, of course, with a stunning left half of the page (great design layout with the black stripe behind Canary, too), and then a superb right hand stack of panels for the joke setup and payoff (Stargirl's reaction in the bottom panel, though small, is fantastic; just averting her eyes from the cringe-worthy punchline by simply looking forward... great character moment!).  Really, really, REALLY solid page, Michael, and I -love- how Dinah's elbow breaks through the border of panel three (as if she needed any other assistance to stand out on the page... :) ).  Congrats!  Awesome!

Gorgeous page of a gorgeous Black Canary who happens to be almost nude in a page sure to delight fanboys everywhere. It's a beautifully laid-out page by Phil Hester with superb inks by Ande Parks, but that's not what most people will remember about it. Still, it's a a terrific pick-up, just not the kind of pick-up  some people get excited about.
