Description

This was slated to be the second Sunday strip in the World's Greatest Superheroes series. For unknown reasons, this version was not used, although the storyline remained fundamentally the same. When originally conceived, the strip was to involve most of the JLA, but in later years it centered around Superman, with only occasional guest appearances by other JLA members.

This piece recently appeared in the "Alter Ego Collection Volume 1" by Roy Thomas and TwoMorrows Publishing.

Never seen work from this newspaper strip before but the pencils are a nice change from the usual inked Tuska art we normally see. He draws a nice Wonder Woman.

Wow! Look at all those characters! His line work, even in pencil, is SUPER clean. Great stuff!
