Ugh, this was heartbreaking. I'm still not over it. Don't talk to me about it.

Matt Wagner - Mage: The Hero Discovered #13p. 16 hand-colored blue-line.

The blue-line consists of an acetate overlay of the pencil and ink page and a separate board containing a blue-line reproduction of the original page; Matt Wagner hand-colored the blue-line himself and has signed the piece. The original blue-line is done on a board that measures approx. 7 1/2" x 10 1/4" with an image area that is approx. that of the published comic book. Thanks Jim!

I've included an additional pic of the hand-colored artwork as well to show off the detailed work.

The colours on this series were some of the best of the era and still standout. Unlikely to be replicated again in view of the turn towards digital colouring. Such a pity Wagner doesn't do this any more. And yeah, such a key scene in the series.
