Carnival of Souls page 9 by Todd Camp, Malibu Comics 1991.

For the Surreal Classic Horror fans out there! This art is from the 50-page comic adaptation of the classic 1962 horror film Carnival of Souls. Carnival of Souls was a fantastic film that explored guilt, death, shame, religion, and so much more with an ethereal presentation. The Criterion Collection released a wonderful limited box set as one of its earliest films.

In page 9 Mary is talking about her trip to Utah, where she will be the new pipe organist at a church. She does not seem all that enthusiastic about it.

11x16 (approximately) pencils inks and pasted dialogue stats. The art is stamped on the back �Cremo Films�

The page margins are entirely blacked out with marker. The style is very 90�s indie in its heavy line work and the sheer amount of stippling. The book was published in black and white, so the scans are representative of how they looked published.

A great piece of art for any comic, film or horror fan.
