The size of Jason Shawn Alexander's works make these more powerful to behold in person. You can see how he's able to have all those panels on the right when seen in scale as the story is very easy to follow. The painterly approach is probably how he really wants to tackle these pieces.

So true. His art is huge. He's fearless with the ink and his page design is incredible.
